John 3:16-18 ESV
“For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him. Whoever believes in him is not condemned, but whoever does not believe is condemned already, because he has not believed in the name of the only Son of God.
This is the message. Jesus came to save the world. That is to save the world from the condemnation that is upon it. He is the only savior for the whole world. There is no other. Those who believe in him are saved. The others are condemned for their own sin. But all who believe in the Name of Jesus are saved.
None will be secure for doing good things. None will buy their way into heaven. None will be able to rely on their status. Only through the Name of Jesus can you be saved. Trust in him and you will live. Trust him not, and your own sin will bring your own demise.
Believe in the name of Jesus Christ for in him all the sin of the world are forgiven. In him all the sinners can be set free.
