#rejoiceintheLord Life Journal day 340 / Philippians 1-4

Philippians 4:4-7 NIV

Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again: Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard your hearts and your minds in Christ Jesus.

Rejoice in the Lord for you who are in the Lord have every reason to rejoice.   You are under the protection and the provision of God for all of eternity.  No matter how bad things may get, you are secure.  In placing your hope in Jesus Christ and God the Father you have become more secure than any earthly structure.  What God has made secure, no one and nothing can undo.  Go to God with your requests with a thankful heart.  Look to no other for your provision. No one cares for you like your maker.  Only He can guard your heart and your mind.  Only He can give you peace.  Rejoice for you have come under the authority of the Almighty God.  Rejoice because you belong to the King of all Kings.  Rejoice for you have been made to be child of the Living God.

You are forever secure in Christ Jesus our Lord.  Rejoice!
